There’s so much focus on the entertainment business is because the people working in it or for it are famous, that doesn’t mean that there isn’t sexual harassment and sexual assault going on n other parts of the world. It’s publication bias, what will grab people’s attention is what will sell. Until women are equal in every single way, we cannot be expected to be respected until things change because it’s so deeply rooted in our culture.

But why is it so deeply rooted? Other societies have matriarchs, so why can’t the United States slowly adapt to thinking that women are equal? To be able to have children, you must have a women to give birth to the child. Scientists cannot make babies yet without the help of a women and her uterus. Granted, only the successful matriarchs have survived time (there’s only six). One of the most famous matriarchs of time was the Amazons, but even they came to an end.
